1皇帝听到森林里夜莺的歌声，觉得比什么都美。他把夜莺请到宫殿里唱歌。The emperor hears a nightingale in the forest and thinks it is the loveliest song. He invites her to the palace.
2有人送来一只金色的机械鸟。它会转圈唱歌，但声音总是同一个样子。Someone sends a golden clockwork bird. It spins and sings, but always the same tune.
3皇帝听腻了机械鸟，心里空空的。真夜莺飞回来，轻轻唱了一支安慰的歌。The emperor grows tired of the clockwork bird and feels empty. The real nightingale flies back and sings a gentle song.
4皇帝好多了。他说：真朋友和真歌声，最宝贵。夜莺答应常来看他。The emperor feels better. He says: Real friends and real songs are the best. The nightingale promises to visit often.
